MOOAR S2 Showcase Pt 2: Unveiling Utility

In the last series, we explored four exciting projects who are crafting immersive new universes and creative IPs for their projects.

This series, we’ll be focused on three projects who are pushing the boundaries of web3 with innovative approaches to NFT utility.

First up, we’ve got web3 lifestyle app Read2N, a revolutionary project looking to decentralize the publishing industry.

The publishing industry has been around for centuries, with traditional publishing houses dominating the market. However, the rise of technology has paved the way for new and innovative ways of publishing and distributing books.

Read2N is pioneering a creative and completely novel approach to reading and writing, it’s a web3 copyright platform that aims to solve the transparency issue and provide sustainable income to authors and writers.

The R2E platform is built on the GameFi model, which allows users to purchase NFTs that represent the books on the platform. By owning an NFT, users not only own a piece of the book but also a part of the book’s copyright. This means that if the book becomes a hit seller or is adapted into a movie, users will benefit from the income generated by the book’s success.

One of the most exciting aspects of R2E is the potential for the platform to expand globally. The R2E team has a precise marketing plan that focuses on each market and timeline for expanding into new markets. For example, in the next month, the team will be publishing Japanese manga, comic books, and others in the Japanese language, as they believe the Web3 industry is very advanced in Japan, and there are many Japanese people who love reading.

Ultimately, readers are offered a unique value proposition with R2N: become part of the book’s crew of reading and promoting that book. If readers love a particular book and mint it, the more the trading volume, the higher the rental volume, and the higher the income for the author. This provides readers with a direct impact on the author’s success, something that is not possible in the traditional publishing industry.

BetBatsNFT

Project feature number two of this series is BetBatsNFTs, a creative and unique collection of 2,222 sleeping bats that will be awoken by minting.

The team behind this project is F5DAO, a group of five friends who started out a DAO to do consulting work. Their vision is to create great utilities, cool games, and deliver valuable rewards to holders.

Notably, BetBats is a part of an ecosystem that the F5DAO is building which integrates casino-like entertainment and games with luck and chance where holders can play to earn revenue with daily spins, flip coins, and more. And they’re creating a vibrant, tight-knit brand of upside down PFPs that are instantly recognizable and empowering the community further.

What’s more, the F5DAO has a notable mission to add even more utility to its ecosystem by acting as a benefit to other projects, not just holders. That is, its acting as a software as a service for other projects — it’s a project of community, designed to help other projects!

PINK FLAMINGO SOCIAL CLUB

Welcome to the Pink Flamingo Social Club!

This groovy collection of 3333 hand-drawn flamingoes is a cross-chain project building a rewarding community, serviced weekly with AMA’s, Live Art & Online Events.

Holders unlock a wealth of utility, such as IRL perks based upon traits minted on your mingo, exclusive AR figurines, merch/music, and multichain privileges via access to the ‘Great Migration.’

They also get access to the Pink Flamingo Social Club, which includes monthly art, content, and audio production masterclasses, as well as multichain NFT sources through their token gated Discord Community.

Marrying the virtual with the real world, PFSC holders also obtain IRL event access to events like the Degen festival, an underground music and entertainment event in a 1-day party style epic party, as well as DARKWORLD, Up in the Airlock, Boss Moxi concerts and streams.
